      Stevens sued for specific performance, exemplary damages, and=20

      unspecified club officers told her that the member signatures were =

      unnecessary because missing signatures were often supplied by club =

      officers themselves when time came to vote on an =
application.&nbsp;=20

Stevens, which=20
      explained that all applicants to the ASDCA must be treated the =
same, and=20
      that properly submitted applications received from July of 2000 on =
would=20
      be voted on at the next scheduled meeting of the ASDCA Board of =
Directors,=20
      which was to be held in November of 2001.&nbsp; The letter also =
described=20
      an appeals process an applicant can initiate if regular membership =
is not=20
      granted.&nbsp; Stevens</SPAN><SPAN=20
