<i>Reeves</i> <i>v. City of Dallas</i>, the Dallas court held that the =
remainder of the second\

that the first order\
did not have&#8212;interfered with its appellate jurisdiction and the =
relief that it could grant\
and so violated rule 29.5(b). 68 S.W.3d 58, 60 (Tex. App.&#8212;Dallas =
2001, pet.\
denied). We agreed with that premise in footnote 13 in <i>Ahmed. Ahmed =

Ventures, L.P.</i>, 99 S.W.3d 682, 691 n.13 (Tex. App.&#8212;Houston =
[1st Dist.] 2003, no\
pet.). The appellate issues in <i>Reeves</i> were that &#8220;(1) the =
judge who signed the March\
injunction is not the judge who heard the evidence in February, and (2) =
the March\
injunction does not sufficiently state the facts on which it is based as =
required . . . .&#8221; \
<i>Reeves</i>, 68 S.W.3d at 60. The <i>Reeves</i> court determined that =
the March injunction\
issued to replace the February injunction interfered with the appellate =
jurisdiction and\
the effectiveness of any relief sought in the appeal of the February =
order. <i>Id.</i> We\
distinguish <i>Reeves</i> on the basis that the court determined that =
under the facts of that\
case the trial court&#8217;s later order interfered with the appellate =
court&#8217;s jurisdiction and\
relief for the earlier order. <i>See id</i>. Unlike <i>Reeves</i>, the =
close analysis of the appellate\
issues presented show none of those concerns. <i>See id</i>.</p>\
